Basic Quilting 1M23
You can register for this class starting July 15.
Learn basic quilting techniques and then expand into areas where the quilt becomes art, exploring what makes good design, shape and color composition, and finally touching on surface elements and dimensionality. You'll use scraps of favorite fabrics to design and sew a quilt.
By the final class, you'll be equipped with new ideas, techniques and inspiration to continue your own work at home.
All experience-levels; new and returning students welcome. Limit 6 students.
*Very beginning students (new to sewing) may require time beyond the class to complete their quilts
Ms. Jones is 100% qualified and more! She taught me how to use a sewing machine; brought in a lot of quilting books for us to look at; and shared her work with us. Seeing her work in person was a big help and inspiration. It kind of blew my mind because I didn't know you could do all of these things with quilting. I came out of Ms. Jones' class with a more expansive understanding of the quilting art!
